Our client is one of the world's leading companies in the fabrication, erection and maintenance of oil&gas storage facilities.

Job Description

The person will have the following responsibilities:
  • legal representation of the company in the country
  • management of all the financial issues of the branchmanagement of a team in charge of all the general accounting procedures (monitoring of balance and profit & loss statement) and coordination with the Statutory Auditors and with external/internal auditors for the periodical reviews
  • implementation of the internal control and cost control procedures and cooperation with the rest of the team to develop common procedures for the branch
  • developing and managing all the contacts with counterparts
  • development of all the industrial business and proposal/implementation of new businesses in the local market

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate has the following competences and expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of the Algerian market
  • Strong knowledge of all the market's financial regulations (VAT administration, management and control of the coverage in foreign values, banking regulations, customs duties & import taxes)
  • Experience as a Finance Manager in industrial multinational environments 
  • Strong management and relational skills
  • Fluency in Italian, French and English and availability to travel abroad are essential for this role
