Job Description

  • Assist in formulating and refining the company's strategy and annual business plan (e.g., conducting required sector analysis, developing financial models, participating in team discussions, coordinating effort with external consultants (as required) and internal departments)
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure that all business strategy analysis needs are addressed in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Develop and track performance on the Balanced Scorecard initiatives and KPIs and prepare appropriate reports for management as well as Board as necessary
  • Develop appropriate strategic initiative documentation (charters, risk analysis, resource plans, etc.) and ensure effective communication with key stakeholders
  • Maintain log of key strategic initiative documentation across the lifecycle of initiation, planning, execution and close-out to ensure all initiatives adhere to Farah standards and best practices
  • Develop periodic and ad-hoc progress reports for management
  • With an emphasis on partnerships (vs. one-of transactions), assist to identify, prioritize and evaluate business opportunities in a given area (example: shared services between sister companies, corporate sponsorships
  • Prepare financial models for new business opportunities and highlight the key factors to increase revenue/reduce costs: price, volume, specific products, delivery, local content, etc.
  • Interact with the internal departments related with the project, outlines strategy and establishes the initial project action plan, working closely with the business unit managers
  • Support the definition of the business structure and facilitates the development of necessary contacts with target and related stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentations of new proposed services to the management, partners and clients.
  • Provide analytical and strategic analysis for operational matters (ex: finding causes for reduction in Merchandise sales)
  • Manage the business intelligence system (as business client) within the organization
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies, procedures while working with compliance to the best policies and practices.
  • Design and develop the data modeling structure, architecture to support the business need

The Successful Applicant

  • University Degree in Business / Finance/ Strategy/ Engineering/ Quality Management - from a reputable university preferred
  • Qualification in Business Process Reengineering, Project Management
  • 3-5 years' experience in management consulting in a leading banking, accounting or management consulting firm
  • Strong track record in working with teams and driving impact (e.g., clear achievements and contributions in past work experience)
  • Strong track record of analytical duties
  • Attention to details and ability to meet deadlines
  • Varied knowledge of business workflows, operations processes and systems
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a high degree of commercial awareness and the ability to contribute to the strategic development of the business as a whole
  • An innovative, creative approach to problem solving desirable
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
