About Our Client

Our client is the world-leading specialist in drive systems (motors, geared motors and drives)  and offers innovative solutions upon different type of industrial clients.
In cooperation with you management, as Business Development Manager Artificial Lift (M/F) you will bring a worldwide vision on the Upstream market. You will build up a business strategy based in your knowledge and expertise on tailor-made projects in complex environments. You will develop solutions and deploy them upon the targeted networks worldwide (EMEA, America, LATAM, Russia, Asia…). You guarantee the business development and consolidate company’s profitability in your activity sector.

Job Description

The main tasks of the Business Development Manager (M/F) will be the following :
  • To lobby before the launching of the projects, when the tenders go on the market. To prospect and grow your network with key actors within oil companies and EPCs worldwide. To propose to this prospects the group’s global solutions (motors, drives, instrumentation and control systems…),
  • To use your technical experience and skills and work together with the rest of the Engineering Division in order to design new solutions that will allow you to position the company as a major actor in its market. To be directly or indirectly selected by the end users to sell the company’s tailor-made systems to equipment manufacturers and/or E&P companies or to their suppliers (for example: ESP Pump manufacturers, O&G compression systems, etc…),
  • To guarantee the establishment of referrals and accreditations upon targeted clients. To identify and gather the specific needs of your clients at an early stage and before the launching of any given project,
  • To respond to bids and tenders coordinating with internal departments. To propose the best technical and economic solutions (quality, cost, deadlines…) and to negotiate new contracts. To secure the relationship with your clients until the achievement of the project.

The Successful Applicant

  • You hold an advanced university degree (Master Degree or equivalent) preferable in Engineering or a related field. You have an specialization in Oil&Gas processes (Upstream is preferred).
  • Progressively responsible experience in selling complex solutions to the Upstream sector is required. You are ideally an expert in Artificial Lift. 
  • You have excellent relational skills and your  know-how in lobbying the high executives in the Oil&Gas sector is your major asset. You have a real entrepreneurship attitude.
  • You speak fluent English.
