About Our Client

Plan, schedule, track and report the progress of all business projects in place in a proactive manner.
Safeguard that the projects dashboard is continuously updated with actual progress.
Make certain that the CEO is well informed with all progress, challenges, milestones of all projects via the dashboard.
Act as a link between CEO and other project teams/stakeholders to ensure that they are well informed with CEO directives (if any).
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise teams/stakeholders of different projects to ensure that all projects are properly streamlined as planned.
Provide thorough analysis to all project milestones and take corrective action (if required) or provide recommendations as needed.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and line managers in a timely and clear fashion.
Proactively manage changes in project scope and ensure that any change to project scope is documented and approved by the CEO.
Ensure that detailed project implementation steps or action plans are created for the duration of each project as appropriate.
Ensure that all projects have clear requirements documented, approved and well communicated to ensure that project activity meets agreed project objectives.
Ensure monitoring of progress against all projects is timely and accurate to enable sponsors and stakeholders to have visibility and sufficient information to make the required decisions.
Ensure risks, issues and dependencies are being recorded, monitored and proactively managed to minimise disruption to successful delivery.
Identify potential crises, devise contingency plans and accordingly provide alternatives to mitigate possible risks.
Plan and facilitate effective meetings to align top management and/or board of directors on all project plans / updates upon CEO request.
Ensure availability of resources and determine if additional resources will be required.
Perform any other work related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time-to-time by management.
The Successful Applicant
University degree with business major or equivalent.
Recognized formal project management qualification (PMP/ PgMP/ APMP/ CAPM/ PMI-RMP or equivalent) is a must.
Significant experience in a dynamic environment and at a senior level in a PMO Function.
Advanced experience in project/program management and planning skills.
Well versed in managing a wide range of projects types and complex business initiatives.
Advanced understanding of performance management frameworks and tools in the delivery of business objectives.
Team management experience with the ability to manage and motivate virtual or matrix project teams as well as the PMO.
Experience of being a Business Partner and managing effective relationships.
Experience of prioritization matrices and working with the business to determine appropriate project prioritization.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Self-starter and self-motivated.
Meticulous and attentive to details.
Solution driven; able to react quickly and resolve issues.
Ability to thrive under extreme pressure.
Ability to coach project partners/teams to achieve goals.
Strong presentation skills & strong analytical skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Production of consistent project artefacts such as project plans, dashboards, status reporting and financial reporting.
Ability to monitor and report on project budgets across the portfolio at stakeholder and Sponsor levels
Advanced IT skills in relation to Word, PowerPoint and Excel and MS Project or other project tools.
Thought leader with a view to creating a viable PMO service.
