To prepare the accounts and ensure maintenance of financial controls
About Our Client
Multinational engineering design for building, construction company
To adhere to all policy & procedures as established and set out in divisional accounting manual
To ensure accurate accounting records are kept to provide prompt and reliable management information for Qatar operations
Developing and executing the financial reporting of the businesses using Axapta
Attend to legal, tax, company secretarial and statutory matters arising in Qatar and ensure timely compliance to all Local statutory compliance's.
Take part in the development of our Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system
Manage completion of month-end and year-end reporting to division and in line with Regional requirements and timetables
Monitoring of policies, practices and procedures to ensure adequate financial and internal controls are maintained over the companies' assets and activities.
To ensure the companies operate within their financial facilities and that any additional funding requirements are promptly advised to the Regional Finance Director.
In conjunction with Regional IT, ensure all data processing and management information required by the business is provided on a timely and accurate basis.
To liaise with Company's Bankers, Auditors and other professional advisers and to maintain major customer/ supplier/partner relationships as required
Other areas of responsibility will include: import/export administration including L/C's, licensing, contracts and agreements, capital investment appraisals.
Be aware of and adhere to the Company's Health & Safety policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
Qualified Accountant (CA/ CPA) with 5 years + post qualifying experience in Middle East.
Multinational preferably in an industrial or construction industry.
ERP software and strong accounting, Strong Command over English.
