Our client is a global leader in the consumer goods industry. As part of a strong development in the African continent, we are looking to recruit a Commercial Head for Egypt.

Job Description

Based in Cairo, you report to the General Manager for Middle East Africa and Turkey. Acting as the Commercial Director of the Egypt Sales Company, you are accountable for the overall business delivery  and profitable business result achievement within the country.   
In line with this role, you will be expected to fulfill the following assignments : 
  • Be responsible for the country P&L, 
  • Conceive the overall business strategy for your  Sales Company, 
  • Drive Channel Management by ensuring sales delivery, leveraging the right product mix, ensuring rigorous key account management and providing guidance to Sales Operations and After Sales teams, 
  • Oversee product and portfolio together with brand management by providing guidance and leadership to local product commercial strategy and guiding trade marketing strategy, 
  • Build and lead a strong and performing  team in order to deliver on the commercial strategy for the region, 
  • Create a performance culture in Egypt by aligning local  organization to the Group corporate values.

The Successful Applicant

You have a Master’s degree in Management with strong experience in a Commercial Country role having evolved in Egypt within Multinational Companies. Experience in Production will be a distinctive advantage to succeed in this position. Successful hands on individual with strong business and commercial acumen, you are used to product portfolio exposure as well as brand and marketing fundamentals. Having managed a large team, you have strong people and organizational leadership skills. Finally, you are bilingual in Arabic and in English.
