Our client is a leading manufacturer of building materials.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow and establish the aluminum and glazing contracting business unit in Qatar
  • Improve the supply chain in relation to the metalwork offerings and managing specific aspects of tenders and orders from start to finish
  • Manage tenders and project margin expectations
  • Manage specifications for company products
  • Ensure all specifications and tenders adhere to the relevant standards
  • Develop relationships at Director level with end users, architects and main contractors
  • Continue to expand the architects exposure and win specifications
  • Ensure that building products business unit has healthy tender pipeline, which is managed on a daily basis

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate:

  • 5-10 years experience in construction/manufacturing industry
  • Must have a proven track record in the aluminum and glazing sales industry
  • Extensive knowledge of aluminum, glazing systems (ie: curtain wall, and structural glazing), glass partitions, balustrades, handrails, aluminum fabrication, aluminum composite panels, skylights, doors and windows
  • Excellent English communications skills
  • GCC experience preferably residing in Qatar
