Qatar Petroleum have a number of large offshore projects that are set to commence at the beginning of 2011. We are looking for experienced professionals with offshore experience in design, selection, engineering, installation and commissioning for Oil & Gas, Refinery, and/or Petrochemical industries with at least majority in Offshore Oil and Gas industry. Our client are looking for a large number of mainstream professionals to assist with two projects; High Voltage power transmission project and building special infrastructure offshore platforms.
Who we're looking for
Candidates must have:
• Bachelor degree in Instrumentation & Control or equivalent.
• 15 years postgraduate experience in design, selection, engineering, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation, metering, DCS, Safety systems and Instrumentation packages for the Oil & Gas, Refinery, and/or Petrochemical Industries of which at least 5 years experience shall be in Offshore Oil and Gas Industry.
• Proficiency in use of instrument sizing software like INSTRUCALC, FLOWEL etc.
• Proven technical competency in instrument design/engineering and ability to carry out safe and fit-for-purpose designs.
• Thorough knowledge of industry/international standards and ability to interpret the same for specific applications.
• Field bus and fiber optic networking experience is an added advantage.
