Senior Loss Prevention Engineer

Qatar Petroleum have a number of large offshore projects that are set to commence at the beginning of 2011. We are looking for experienced professionals with offshore experience in design, selection, engineering, installation and commissioning for Oil & Gas, Refinery, and/or Petrochemical industries with at least majority in Offshore Oil and Gas industry. Our client are looking for a large number of mainstream professionals to assist with two projects; High Voltage power transmission project and building special infrastructure offshore platforms.

Who we're looking for
Candidates must have:
• Bachelor degree in Chemical or mechanical engineering.
• 15 years or more of post graduate experience in oil & gas Industry. Of this there should be minimum 5 years of experience in HSE/Loss prevention design and engineering of offshore oil and gas installations.
• Proficiency in use of process engineering software like PHA-works for HAZOP, PHAST, FRED, SAFETI & CIRRUS etc.
• Proven technical competency in Loss Prevention design / engineering and ability to carry out Project safety reviews, HAZOP/HAZID sessions, and fire fighting engineering, safe and fit-for-purpose designs.
• Thorough knowledge of industry/international standards and ability to interpret the same for specific applications.
