Qatar Petroleum have a number of large offshore projects that are set to commence at the beginning of 2011. We are looking for experienced professionals with offshore experience in design, selection, engineering, installation and commissioning for Oil & Gas, Refinery, and/or Petrochemical industries with at least majority in Offshore Oil and Gas industry. Our client are looking for a large number of mainstream professionals to assist with two projects; High Voltage power transmission project and building special infrastructure offshore platforms.

Who we're looking for
Candidates must have:
• Three year course in a technical diploma in mechanical engineering.
• 10 years or more of post diploma experience including 5 years in oil & gas industry at a senior level.
• This experience should include a minimum 3 years of experience as senior piping designer for offshore oil and gas production facilities.
• Proficiency in making piping general arrangement, isometric, layout drawings, P&IDs, PFDs etc. in AUTOCAD 2007.
• Knowledge of industry and international standards relevant to piping/mechanical design.
• Proven technical competency in mechanical engineering. Knowledge of associated disciplines such as process engineering.
