Our client is a recently formed Joint Venture based in Abu Dhabi for the purpose of setting up a 'Greenfield' regional aluminium extrusion company. This state of the art facility will deliver 'high-end' aluminium products to the automotive, aerospace and industrial markets across the Middle East and globally.

Currently we are recruiting a Procurement Manager, to be part of start-up leadership team,who will be responsible for procuring all CAPEX equipment for the erection and commissioning of this entire Greenfield aluminium extrusion plant.

Alongside procuring all CAPEX and start up equipment the successful candidate will manage the procurement function, all related procurement budgeting and planning activities, defining, developing and implementing procurement plans, policies and procedures, that meet the needs of the business units, and oversee all needs related to procurement in various units at the JVCO.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have at least 8 years experience in establishing, controlling and managing the procurement function in a large manufacturing firm, having experience in setting up policies and procedures for the department. Ideal candidates will have experience in a "Greenfield" environment and must have experience in purchasing CAPEX equipment for a manufacturing site that will turnover circa US$150million and that will output in excess of 30,000 tonnes of aluminium per annum. Strong candidates from a "Brownfield" background are also welcome to apply. To be considered you also need to be educated to at least degree level, ideally also possessing a formal professional qualification i.e. CIPS.
