Chief Internal Auditor

Reporting to Qatargas's CEO, the Chief Internal Auditor will direct Qatargas's audit activities and act as a key advisor to the CEO and company board. Leading a large and highly skilled audit team the successful candidate will develop audit strategy and ensure all audits are compliant with international best practice. This is a key role within the business - you will need to foster good relationships across all divisions and be passionate about introducing andpromoting good corporate governance across the business.

Who we're looking for
Key selection criteria include:

• Degree in Accounting/Business Administration or Engineering with an appropriate professional qualification i.e. CIA/CISA/CA/CPA
• Extensive experience in internal audit, specifically in audit management in a large multi national business
• Significant experience in the hydrocarbon industry operating in senior roles
• Comprehensive knowledge of auditing standards and techniques
• Knowledge/experience of business practices, contracting/project management, business systems, marketing, procurement, engineering and other operations
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
