Chief Financial Officer

The CFO reports to the Chairman and is integral to the future growth and continued success of this diverse group business. He/She will be tasked with implementing corporate governance and risk management into the structure as well as working with all business units to improve efficiency and profitability. He/She will also act as a senior advisor on all strategic matters. The CFO will ensure that controls and accounting fundamentals are robust and in line with best practice international standards.

Specific responsibilities will include:
• Provision of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting & analysis
• Managing key business relationships and handling all liaison with the Banks and Auditors.
• Effective cash flow management
• Reviewing and improving corporate governance and controls
• Formation of strategic plans to ensure the business continues to meet growth objectives
• Close collaboration and partnership with the business to ensure operational effectiveness is maximised

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will possess:
• A proven track record of success in a senior commercial role with either a diverse group business or large corporation
• Outstanding analytical, problem solving and project management skills
• Strong understanding of contracts and other commercial structures
• Experience of accounting for a multi-location entity
• Excellent interpersonal skills. You will be a high impact individual who is able to negotiate and influence at a senior level
• The ability to thrive in a complex environment and manage multiple requirements in a timely and effective manner
•A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) or equivalent business qualification (MBA)
