Reporting to the Raw Material & Packaging Manager, the candidate's main focus will be on implementing sourcing strategies for raw material & packaging commodities for the Middle East region.
Responsibilities include:
• Focusing on management of supplier relationships and sourcing strategy design & ownership
• Budget and price variance management & reporting
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, and provide full risk analysis where applicable for all new or alternative suppliers, to highlight risks if any are foreseen
• Implement strategic sourcing initiatives for raw materials with a strong focus on sugar
• Working closely with global buyers on implementing sourcing plans for raw & packaging materials
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Strong understanding of strategic sourcing
• Experience in raw and packaging purchasing is preferable within a FMCG environment
• 3 to 5 years experience in the procurement environment within a leading multinational organization
