QP/Shell Petrochemical project is a joint project between QP and Shell to develop a new JV petrochemical complex at Ras Laffan (80% QP / 20 % Shell) to add value to ethane and Propane from North Field and ensure optimum utilization of Qatar's hydrocarbon resources. As a globally-advantaged petrochemical growth platform in Ras Laffan Industrial City the project is set for mechanical completion by Q2 2016 with start-up by end of Q3 2016. The project configuration as the base case is mixed feed cracker and aiming for production of Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG), Linear Alpha Olefins, and Propylene based OXO Alcohols.
You role will be to Direct and supervise the subordinates of the project Planning and scheduling and coordinate with other Engineers to ensure that all project facilities are properly supported by necessary resources, plans, and materials to ensure safe, reliable and projects schedule for all project's milestones specifically interfacing plans between process lines and all supported utilities.

Who we're looking for
- Degree in Engineering
- Proven experience in being a senior planning engineer in major petrochemical projects
- Significant experience in the Oil & Gas Industry including practical experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, work control, contracting and budgetary and cost control procedure.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- In depth knowledge of planning tools, techniques and philosophy
- Scheduling experience on large FEED and EPC projects
- Strong organisation, project management and time management skills
