Reporting to the Regional Managing Director you will be responsible for ;
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

1. Leadership of the Finance Function - He/she is responsible for;
a. Financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
b. Strong Financial Controls and Audit and compliance
c. Optimising working capital utilisation and maximising cashflow generation
d. Reviewing and assisting with investment proposals and the subsequent assessment of the effectiveness of investments.
e. Ensuring the recruitment, development and succession planning for members of the finance community throughout the region.

2. Commercial negotiation leadership - This will involve the formulation of commercial and negotiation strategies and complex bid modelling for long term contracts.
3. Merger and Acquisition - He/she will play a key role in selecting, assessing, negotiating and concluding acquisitions. He/she will also play an active role in ensuring the successful integration of larger acquisitions

4. Strategy for the Inner and Outer Gulf regions key member of the management executive teams for the regions which are responsible for setting and delivering the strategy.

Who we're looking for
Required Experience:

1 English speaker
2 Qualified Accountant with at least 6 years experience of managing a finance function in a substantial business, preferably operating in a business services environment delivering services in multiple countries in a large man-power intensive business (someone coming from the complex accounting environment )
3 Demonstrated the ability to work across borders, cultures and time zones.
4 Solid experience of operating internationally.
5 Previous experience of delivering support services to businesses and to governments
6 Skilled negotiator with strong customer skills and with a track record of concluding significant commercial deals
7 Experience in M&A activity
8 Proven ability to inspire and manage teams, both directly and through a matrix management structure
