Technical Training Supervisor

Oil and Gas

The candidate will be Reporting in to the Head of Learning & Development, the individual will Coordinate the training and development of all Qatari Nationals in a technical discipline with in the Oil and Gas space.
You will be in charge of monitoring their progress, putting frame works in place to guide them through there technical programme as well as ensuring their development needs are in line with business requirements
The main responsibilities

• Developing competency programmes for technical graduates and monitor their progress.
• Identify high performers for opportunities within the graduate programme and Company leadership schemes.
• Develop Course matrix and making sure all courses are relevant to business needs and outlining performance enhancement.
• Set up and facilitate in Succession plans
• The position will be 70% HR and 30% Coordinating Technical Training for the Graduates

Who we're looking for
The candidates has come from a relevant HR background ideally from Learning and Development and has previously worked for an Oil and Gas based firm or multinational corporate.

In addition to candidates should have the following attributes;
• The Ideal candidate has come from a technical background, and has worked in HR for the last 6 years and has demonstrated best practice
• Excellent English communication and presentation Skills is a must.
• Working knowledge of SAP would be ideal but Excellent knowledge of working with HR systems
• Ideal candidate would come from a technical background, and working in HR for 6 years
