Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for aligning the business unit operations and assist the Facilities Manager with all operational aspects of a key client's mall. You will also assist with complaints, the integration of the facilities requirements, set up the standards and procedures for operations, develop and implement training programmes, assist in new staffing requirements and mobilize and integrate new client contracts. As well as this, it will be expected for you to assist the Technical and Operational Director on their duties and advise on pricing policies to ensure cost efficiency of running the service.
Who we're looking for
A degree in Mechanical Engineering is a must. Please do not apply unless you have this specific degree. You will have a minimum of 10 years experience in facilities management with at least 2 years exposure to energy management and have a good working knowledge of HVAC, electricity and chiller systems. You will be required to produce technical weekly andmonthly reports and must have experience in working in large shopping centres / malls. There will be a lot of client interfacing and so an excellent command of English is required as well as strong leadership and interpersonal skills as you will be managing a team of engineers. A working knowledge of AutoCAD would be an advantage.
