Regional Supply Chain Manager

Reporting directly to the Strategic Sourcing Manager in Europe as well as to the Regional General Manager the role will be responsible for the regional Supply Chain and form part of the Regional Leadership Team.

Key responsibilities;

• Achieve savings and mitigate inflation in direct materials spend through negotiations, low cost sourcing, supplier rationalization, supplier development under consideration of quality requirements, delivery performance, company values and targets.
• Administer a system to negotiate, analyze and review supplier price changes and drive communication with key stakeholders across the businesses and functions.
• Managing strategic and opportunistic purchasing to corporate operating plan und budget guidelines.
• Monitor and analyze raw material markets to develop sourcing strategies to enhance profitability in line with company targets and values.
• Conducting due diligence to support company growth initiatives, strategic analysis for business development and alliance initiatives as well as supporting manufacturing facilities by implementing Supply Chain structure.
• Coordinate sourcing activities for multiple sites and drive long term improvements on people, processes and systems.
• Assist region in identifying the critical functional gaps and resources to drive change.
• Achieve annual Productivity targets and objectives for the respective region. Create and implement the supply chain strategy for his responsible area aligned with the Long term and Global/regional Supply Chain strategy.
• Drive, monitor and track productivity projects in line with defined 6 Sigma methodology in cooperation with R&D, EHS and businesses to obtain approval.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate would come from the manufacturing industry and have a minimum of 5 years experience of sourcing Raw Materials.

Other key criteria include;

• Strong analytical, negotiation and execution skills
• Ability to deal with complex situations and set right priorities
• Very good communication and coordination skills
• IT tools: SAP-R3, MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
• Educated with at least a Bachelors degree.
• Fluent in English, Arabic preferred.
