Environment & Sustainability Officer

As Environment & Sustainability Officer, the purpose of your role is to continuously improve environmental and sustainability topics on the Dubai site. You will own and develop policies and systems in line with legislation & corporate standards. Specific tasks will include:
- Development of environment & sustainability programs
- Waste reduction, water & energy programs
- Active maintenance of the environmental management system
- Execution f internal audits
- Development of education programs with their subsequent roll out
- Ensuring all projects are meeting compliance standards
- Actively contributing towards the corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have an Engineering Degree (ideally with an environmental science / sustainability focus). You will have gained experience in a (food) manufacturing company in environmental management, working with ISO14001 and environmental management systems. You will be interested in driving new initiatives throughout the business that result in best class practices and future sustainability. Excellent presentation and communication skills are a must and the ability to train and educate at all levels throughout the business. Professional fluency in business English is a must.
