Environment Manager - KSA

Reporting to the regional cluster environment manager on-site with you in KSA, you will be part of the global environment team leading environment initiatives in your region covering Saudi Arabia and the GCC. Your core responsibilities will include:

- Liaising with the government departments, and relevant ministries to keep ahead of industry compliance and trends
- Development of environmental policy
- Provision of data and technical information to support your environmental policies
- Managing the environment management systems and databases
- Driving environment initiatives primarily related to recycling in the region at the customer and company sites
- Actively engaging all stakeholders in educational programs to achieve best practices at all points where the business reaches.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have a Degree Environmental Science and/or Engineering. You will bring experience in environmental management ideally within the Saudi market for a multi-site manufacturing business. Existing knowledge of the Saudi market will ensure you are up to date with legislative and industry standards, plus you will have good relations with the relative regulatory bodies and associations. You will have a good technical understanding of recovery & recycling. Fluency in English & Arabic is a must. You will also need to be flexible with travelling as this will account for approximately 30-60% of your working schedule.
