Vice President of Sales - Geophysical Services

As Vice President of Sales based in Dubai you will report into the Senior Vice President and take ownership for the development, planning, and execution of the sales strategy for all product lines in the Middle East, Africa & Europe Regions. Your mandate will include:

• Implement a sales strategy to increase and strengthen customer relationships and ensure business objectives are met within geographical remit.
• Responsible for coordinating and reporting regional sales activities via regular sales meetings involving the regional sales teams and providing sales forecasts, annual planning and budgets for senior management.
• Develop and strengthen customer relationships at a senior level, with key executives and managers, to successfully promote, expand, and increase the sales and range of products throughout the Region.
• Responsible for negotiating prices and terms and conditions on quotes, orders, contracts and tenders.
• Develop new Sales presentation materials based on client requirements with the Product Management and Marketing departments
• Collect and prioritize the customer's product and service requirements and communicate them to the Marketing Director.
• Negotiate and process orders through regular customer visits and attendance at trade shows in the region.

In addition you will be active in building strong sales capability with regional sales teams, enhancing ability to win and close deals successfully and create new business opportunities.

Who we're looking for
As Vice President of Sales you will be a degree qualified professional with comprehensive technical, direct sales and field experience in geophysical exploration services, including:

• Strong networker with C-Level contacts globally within the E&P and contracting industries.
• Seasoned manager with experience building strong, competent, and effective sales teams.
• Must be able to make complex decisions and customer commitments in real time.
• Capable of thinking outside the box to deliver innovative deal structures that provide a compelling business solution that creates a win-win situation.
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
• Experience negotiating multi-million dollar contracts.
• Strong judgment is required for managing the sales department and negotiating with customers.
• Good knowledge and understanding of financial management, sales operations, and exportation.
• Technical aptitude for understanding a product's technical capabilities and applications.

Note: Proven sales success with a major land seismic equipment manufacturer and solid knowledge of the seismic industry are preferred, as is direct product, service, and industry experience preferred.
