Due to their fast growth here in the Middle East, they are now looking for a Head of Supply Chain Operations to join their rapidly expanding operations in Saudi Arabia.

Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, reporting directly into the CFO and functionally to the Head of Supply Chain for the AMAC Region, the main focus of this role is to manage the end to end supply chain for all of their pharmaceutical products. As part of the Global Supply Chain Team, you will be required to support the development and implementation of robust processes to enable the smooth and effective running of the entire supply chain. This will include the maintenance of high customer service levels, management of inventory, the management of related supply chain costs and the assurance of high standards of products in the supply chain.

You will be tasked to implement and develop an effective supply chain management process, including overseeing all S&OP processes, demand planning, supply planning, order fulfilment and launch/change processes, and communicate the supply chain performance, tactics, strategy, objectives and targets with the rest of the business.

Who we're looking for
In order to be considered to join this expanding team in Saudi Arabia, it is essential that you possess a bachelors degree in a related field, as well as a recognised supply chain qualification (APICS etc). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience working in a management function within the supply chain of a FMCG or pharmaceutical company, and will bring with them extensive knowledge of using SAP or another similar ERP system. As this role will have multiple direct reports, proven experience in managing people is essential, as is possessing excellent communication skills and fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
