Business Planning and Analysis Manager

Reporting to the Country CFO this role is to be a business partner between finance and operations by delivering timely and comprehensive analysis of the company's performance across the entire product range within the country. This role provides an important link between the regional and head offices so the successful candidate must be able to work effectively across all platforms of the business.

Key responsibilities will include but not exclusive to the below:

Reporting:
• Preparation, analysis and reporting of periodic performance and operational reports for presentation to the business unit and the regional senior management team
• Support quarterly business review with the business unit

Strategic Planning:
• Work with the business unit providing support as they develop their annual strategic plans, encompassing scan of market environment, analysis of the current market, outline of future plans and strategies, gap analysis, KPI's and target setting.

Budgeting/ Forecasting:
• Management of Board Reporting and forecasting for the operational aspects of the business, including management of operations risks and opportunities
• Contribute to the formulation of Corporate Strategy by developing medium to long-term operational forecasts and leading the Group's annual strategic planning and budgeting process
• Work with the business unit to facilitate the annual budgeting process
• Work with the business unit to develop quarterly and full year forecast

Operational activities:
• Provide consultation to the business, decision support and evaluation of the business and provide finance strategy, operational performance.
• Analysis of the business results for all products. This will include review, analysis and consultation of the monthly financial results and their comparison with the budgeted performance.
• Develop detailed commentaries on the variance analysis

Who we're looking for
To be considered for this position you need to meet the follow criteria:
• Qualified professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or MBA)
• Fluent Arabic, spoken and written is a non-negotiable skill set
• Extensive experience in a similar Business Planning and Analysis position for a FMCG or Pharmaceutical MNC business, (this is a key selection criteria for these positions).
• Ability to demonstrate the ability to work effectively cross functionally and have exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Proven influencing and negotiation skills and strong commercial acumen are also essential in these roles.
• You will be required to quickly make an impact and add value to the organisation, so a proven track record in this field is necessary.
