Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for selling and promoting products and services to customers in the UAE and Kuwait. The Area Sales Manager proactively develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to achieve specified sales targets. You are to proactively maintain and expand customer relationships; and troubleshoot specific customer concerns, issues and/or problems. You are to represent the organization and market the product portfolio to customers through the preparation sales presentations and by providing support in preparing contracts and proposals to ensure successful outcome of transactions.
Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
• The Area Sales Manager is accountable for selling and promoting valves, pumps, filters, compressors and other flow related products
• Provide technical sales support as and when required on his core championed products to other Area Sales Managers
• Actively prospects and expand customers in the UAE and Kuwaitacross all client types (EPC, End users, etc)
• Follow up on all opportunities and open quotations in his respective territory
• Help the sales support engineers to prepare quotations whenever required
• Manage and coach the sales channels in his respective territory
• Provide as required and in timely manner a detailed sales forecast for all opportunities in his respective territory
• Ensure proper call planning and reporting in a timely manner and achieving the minimum number of clients visits.
• Provide business reports as and when required for the respective territory (business trends, industry trends, specific project etc)
Who we're looking for
EXPERIENCE
• B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering and M.Sc is advantageous
•Minimum 5years of experience in selling industrial products to oil & gas, petrochemical, power & energy sectors
• Sales experience inthe UAEis necessary and experience in Kuwait is an added advantage
• Experience working across all client types (EPC, End Users, etc) in the oil & gas, petrochemical, power & energy sectors
• Excellent Arabic communication skills
SKILLS
• Strong engineering knowledge to provide technical solution to customers
• Ability to respond to sales or engineering related inquiries or complaints from customers.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• English proficiency to fluent level
