Materials Manager

As a Materials Manager, you will be reporting directly in the MEA Operations Director and your main objective is to ensure the effective planning of manufacturing resources to achieve customer required delivery.
Your key tasks will be as follows:
- ensure the effective planning of manufacturing resources (materials and direct manpower) to maintain an agreed customer delivery prospectus
- ensure the effective availability of required materials to achieve customer required deliveries
- maximising best cost supplies and logistics
- maximising inventory turnover (ITO)
- ensure the secure storage of inventory (SRA)
- ensure a safe stores operation (TRR)
- support plant management with budget preparation and execution
- ensure the ongoing development of Materials Management expertise in Dubai plant maintain a valid production plan that balances customer need with capability, constantly taking into account any changes
- support the implementation of a lean manufacturing culture

Who we're looking for
We are looking for degree qualified candidates who have a proven track record in materials management within the manufacturing, industrial, oil & gas, automation or related industry sectors. It is advantageous for you to have an understanding of JIT principles, MRPII, have strong product knowledge in your chosen field, and are an effective communicator. A minimum of 5 years experience in materials management is needed.

What's on offer
This role isoffering a monthly package of AED 24,000 per month. This package includes your monthly basic salary, housing and transport allowances. In addition you will be entitled to medical insurance, annual air tickets for yourself and your family as well as education allowance for your children.
