General Manager - Arabic Speaking

As General Manager you will report into the regional CEO and manage the full operations of the organization, including the strategic direction, growth plans and leadership to achieve maximum profitability within The Kingdom. Your mandate will include:
• Maintain excellent business relations with existing clients and develop new business opportunities.
• Prepare and implement short-term and long-range business plans and budgets, to optimise the achievement of revenue, profit and growth targets.
• Identify and pursue major construction projects and growth potential within the Kingdom.
• Create a high performance culture and provide cross functional leadership and direction to Business Managers, HR, IT, Finance, Operations and Engineering divisions.
• Implementation of policies and procedures as communicated by the Regional Office.
• Ensures timely reporting of accurate information to the Management, on the performance of the business.
• Active role as a representative to the board on product performance in the Kingdom.
In addition you will take ownership of recruitment, training, development, retention and evaluation of employees ensuring the business has the necessary skill base and employees are optimally motivated and enabled to maximise potential and contribute to the achievement of company targets.
Who we're looking for
To be successful in this role you will be an Arabic speaking proven Senior Manager with a track record of success in the region driving overall company goals and objectives, including:
• Bachelor in Business Administration or Engineering and ideally MBA
• Proven track record in a Senior Management position in a multinational organisation.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and understanding in the areas of Human Resources, Finance, Strategic Thinking, Commercial, Planning and Quality Control.
• Experience in the construction and building industry beneficial.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills couple with excellent negotiation and persuading skills.
• Ability to solve problem and conflict management.
