The role is to manage the existing systems and tools supported by the IT department across the region. Manage the evolution of existing and introduction of new information systems and tools to provide additional functionality, improve reliability/maintainability and resolve business process problems.
The role requires the successful candidate to:
• Identify opportunities for information solutions that will provide efficiency, quality and improvement
• Monitor and oversee assigned projects for the development and expansion of information systems.
• Develop integrated information solutions for business and operational processes
• Conduct analysis of customer requirements; produce business requirements and development of satisfactory solutions.
• Provide project management support to projects or teams involved in the expansion and improvement of business processes and information systems.
• Maintain a close customer relationship and identify potential improvements to business processes and information systems.
• Participate in the development of strategic plans and standards.
• Advance the learning and facilitate the problem solving skills of the organization.
• Understands the business processes, particularly HR, Finance and CRM. Preferably in an ERP context.
• Demonstrated hands on expertise in the use of data query tools against databases such (MS SQL)
• Requires a strong Customer Focus and software implementation and support perspective
• Good academic knowledge of computer science and associated subjects, including practical knowledge and demonstrated application of all aspects of the software development life cycle
• Full understanding of information management and aptitude for managing data
• Requires demonstrated experience in the testing of application software including the formulation of test plans
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate must have supported and developed applications to support the business across all functions, including but not limited to Finance, HR, Procurement. They must also have experience of working within a large multinational organization, preferably a professional services organization.
Additional requirements include:
• Ability to deal effectively will multiple levels of technical and business management
• Prior experience managing the development and support for large, critical applications preferably on multiple platforms
• Experience of ERP process and business analysis an advantage
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and development teams
• Proven organization skills
• Strong analytical skills
