This leading global pharmaceutical company is seeking to a recruit a Saudi Arabian national Supply Chain and Planning Manager. The role will be based in Riyadh and report to the Head of Supply Chain for the region. The key responsibility of the role will be to manage the S&OP, forecasting, planning, warehouse and customer service, ensuring the processes are clearly defined, optimized, and well integrated between the different functions/divisions. The position will be responsible for planning the supply chain for existing products and to help support and execute the launch of new products. Strong IT skills will be required to ensure processes are optimised via the systems and that processes are in compliance with all internal and external rules.
As Supply Chain and Planning Manager you will drive the monthly activity for the S&OP processes, planning the requirements for the imported products based on the forecasts and inventory. The incumbent would be placing demand with suppliers and coordinating all inbound shipments with distributors. The position is key in ensuring that the strategy for sourcing, importing and distributing of products throughout region is met, ensuring the warehouse is optimised and costs are kept down. It's expected that the successful applicant will bring best in class processes and improve the customer services levels, forecasting and inventory.
Who we're looking for
This role is ONLY OPEN TO SAUDI ARABIAN NATIONALS. Other nationalities will be rejected. The successful profile must possess a Bachelor's degree in a related business field. A professional qualification would be an advantage. The ideal candidate will also have circa 10 years supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in a pharmaceutical or FMCG environment. Excellent English is a must and you should be a first class communicator (verbal and written) who can effectively manage relationships. A hands on management style is required with the ability to manage in an ambiguous environment. The ideal profile will be a passionate and driven individual, who is perseverant and resilient in the pursuit of objectives, willing to take on new challenges and works to resolve tough issues.
