Major responsibilities and accountabilities:
• Working closely with key internal stakeholders and the sourcing team you will be managing the end to end sourcing process and strategy.
• Perform strategic Supplier selection based on commodity, core competency, service capability, quality and cost
• Negotiation of quality, cost and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Market analysis, supplier identification, pre-qualification and selection of supplier base.
• Coordination of QA inspections and audits of potential and existing Suppliers.
• Establishment of robust and effective Vendor management and development processes.
• Use of contemporary sourcing methodologies e.g. eAuctions and eRFX's.
• Participate in design and sourcing reviews to help ensure that component selection meets the supply chain requirements. Work cross-functionally with Procurement & Contracts, Projects and Technical departments along with nominated Design & Engineering Consultants.

Who we're looking for
Education:
Degree educated with at least 6 years of Strategic Sourcing, and/or procurement experience gained within a blue chip company. You will have category sourcing experience in electrical-mechanical and engineering and a strong track record of implementing solid Supplier Quality processes and improvements with a willingness to travel extensively within the region. Knowledge of European, US and other international quality standards is crucial. Demonstrated experience in contract negotiations, supplier selection and supplier management. Proven ability to build strong working internal and external relationships. Results oriented and will possess excellent technical sourcing, time management, problem solving and communication skills.
