The Senior Advisor will provide timely and regular advice to the Head of the Directorate on aspects aimed at supporting public service entities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi improve their policy-making capability, raise their overall professional standards, and modernize their community engagement and service delivery arrangements. Advice should cover enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Public Administration functions in the Emirate covering institutional infrastructure, high-level processes, frameworks, governance, culture, systems and people.
The Advisor will advise on facilitating institutional strengthening of Government entities by suggesting methods and approaches to building their institutional capabilities, including institutional infrastructure, organizational processes, human resources and systems. Provide advice on developing/establishing/enhancing the Human Capital Policies and Frameworks for Abu Dhabi Government entities;
Liaise with senior policy makers and consultants in Abu Dhabi, other Emirates and international firms hired by the Government of Abu Dhabi whose recommendations/conclusions/findings will have a general or specific impact on the people, processes, systems, governance, and structural aspects of the government of Abu Dhabi;
Provide advice on building a professionalized public service committed to excellence;
Keep abreast of the national, regional and international Public Administration
