Reporting directly to the CFO, you will partner the business streams in ensuring that sales & contribution are optimized and effectively managed. You will provide strong commercial & financial advice on margin management, capital investment and other operational issues as well as ensuring that the senior management team is keep informed with on actual & forecast performance.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Contribute to the formulation of Corporate Strategy by developing medium to long-term operational (including capital expenditure) forecasts and leading the Group's annual strategic planning & budgeting process
• Management of Board Reporting & forecasting for the operational aspects of the business, including management of operations risks & opportunities
• Develop 'objectives-based' system & process enhancements to enable more effective day-to-day management of business profitability
• Fostering strong relationships with business units by establishing a customer service culture within the Commercial Finance Team
• Partner the back-office accounting team to ensure all reporting is effectively managed and accounting disciplines are maintained
• Support New Product introductions & evaluation of new business ventures
• Play a lead role in coaching the finance & operational teams (including management) to become more financially competent in their approach to business decisions
• The post holder will ensure that performance objectives are set and individual development plans are achieved.
• Challenge existing modus operandi, questioning processes and structures which are currently embedded in the Company culture.

Who we're looking for
We are looking for an outstanding candidate to join this exciting and rapidly growing Food and Beverage Company. You will be a finance graduate candidate with a recognised accounting qualification, such as ACA /CPA/ACCA/CIMA.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate they have a proven track record within a Commercial Finance Manager position, ideally from a Blue Chip / MNC Retail or Food and Beverage organisation.

You will need to express excellent interpersonal skills, including outstanding communication skills as you will need to be able to build strong relationships with both finance and operational people and show the ability to influence and challenge both with internal and external partners.

Presenting at a senior level is a key part of this role and requires a candidate with a professional, accurate and confident style.
Previous experience within events and project accounting is extremely advantageous for this role.
