Job Description

  • The role sits within the Structured Finance team, reporting into the Head of Structured Finance.
  • The role involves assisting on marketing, transaction origination and execution of structured financing, with a strong focus on transactions in the GCC.
  • Origination to include all structured products in the above sectors including greenfield and brownfield finance, asset acquisition finance, refinancing, DCM (both private and public), Hedging.
  • Generally this role provides support to VP- ED level employees running transactions, both on analysis and administration tasks with a significant level of knowledge and responsibility.
  • Lending roles include structured finance lending as MLA/ lead bank and coordinator as well as roles such as documentation bank, technical bank and/or agent.
  • There is a customer facing element to the role, including gathering information (KYC, DD etc), financial modelling, presenting outcomes/analysis and attending customer meetings /weekly calls as appropriate.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of structured finance with particular expertise on the legal documentation involved.
  • Experience of working in a large financial institution or other relevant role in industry, advisor or finance.
  • Strong numerical and financial skills.
  • Methodical and meticulous with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong Project Management skills with experience in key processes such as Financial Close, CP process, Documentation process etc.
  • Language skills would be viewed favourably.
