Job Description

Key responsibilities of the role will include but not limited to:

  • Full brand ownership, collaborating with all corporate departments to deliver the brand go-to-market strategy
  • Full commercial plan ownership in collaboration with the Commercial Director
  • Fully accountable to deliver the full Brand P&L
  • Holds primary accountability for achieving brand sales, marketing (understanding and defining the consumer journey), building on the product marketing management strength
  • Working closely with the senior leadership to define strategy, set goals, drive the business, execute and implement plans
  • Owns the Integrated Business Planning process for the brand
  • Understands the consumer and defines the consumer journey; leads Education team and ensures effective customer experience delivery
  • Owns the Retail strategy in partnership with distribution partner and Retail Director
  • Owns the delivery of best-in-class retail execution and in-store experiences, according to brand specific consumer journey
  • Owns full distribution strategy across channels.
  • Accountable for the brand communication and media activation locally

The Successful Applicant

Key requirements for the role include:

  • Extensive beauty industry knowledge and network of relationships in the industry - with customers, distributors, retailers, suppliers, advertising agencies, and other business partners
  • Strategic mind including strong hands-on operational temperament (field oriented)
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Proven leadership in a global business
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge in Digital Marketing, e-commerce and Social Media
  • Brand-building experience
  • Strong commercial acumen including P&L management
  • International mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills - ability to work on multiple projects
  • Must have an understanding of the region
