Job Description
As a BD director, your key responsibilities will be as below:
- Lead and be accountable for acquiring new logo and business development opportunities
- Maintain influential network relationships both internally and externally, to maximise opportunities to successful closure and handover
- Build foundations to develop successful and sustainable long-term business relationships with key stakeholders
- Identify new tactical sell opportunities & create pipeline that will result in both short- and longer-term business success
- Develop strong, proactive account plans that summarise strategy and action
- To seek innovative ways to expand new services and initiatives across the accounts
- Utilise portfolio change and additions to engage with organisations and create customer conversations
The Successful Applicant
To be a successful applicant for this role:
- A minimum of 10-15 years professional work experience'
- 6-8 years' experience in IT solution sales/ IT services in the Middle East with a demonstrated track record in hunting, winning business across large enterprise and public sector
- Arabic speaking is mandatory for this role due to role involvement with public sector in GCC
- Solid mix of account management and proactive business development
- Hunter mindset and will to achieve
- Ability to build and maintain relationships at the highest CxO level externally
