Job Description

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth serving the iron and steel industr

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve both individual and collective sales goals

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring customer satisfaction

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product development and improvement

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, sales collateral, and other materials to support sales efforts

  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, including sales pipeline, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction, taking corrective action as needed

  • Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities

  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company's products and services and expand the network

  • Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in sales and business development.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles within the refractories industry.
  • Good network with the steel plants across the Middle East region
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, fostering relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and driving continuous improvement.
  • Ability to travel within the Middle East region and other locations as needed.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
