Our Client is in the b2b space. They are currently searching for an experienced Commercial and FP&A Analyst to join their team, based in Abu Dhabi.

Job Description

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management.

Business Partnering:

  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support.
  • Act as a financial advisor to business units, helping to optimize financial performance and achieve business goals.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between finance and other teams.

Business Intelligence & KPI Monitoring:

  • Build and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business performance.
  • Select, implement, and manage business intelligence tools to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
  • Conduct regular reviews of KPIs to ensure alignment with business objectives and identify areas for improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Degree in Finance from top school-university, with business and management acumen
  • 3-6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Strong financial modelling skills with the ability to develop complex models.
  • Excellent partnering skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
