An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering Manager to Direct multi-discipline engineering through all phases (FEED, detailed design, IFC) for upstream EPC projects, ensuring technical integrity, constructability, operability, and compliance with codes, standards, and client specifications.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities· Own engineering execution plan (EEP), discipline deliverables list, and maturity index (Model/Deliverable progress).

· Lead design reviews: HAZID/HAZOP, 3D model reviews, ALARP demonstrations, and constructability/operability assessments.

· Ensure adherence to relevant standards (API, ASME, ISO, IEC, NFPA) and company/client specifications.

· Manage interfaces: process, mechanical, piping, civil/structural, E&I, telecom, and vendors/licensors.

· Plan and control engineering resources; ensure timely IFC release and support procurement (MRs, TBE, vendor data).

· Own technical queries (TQs), deviations/concessions, and management of change (MOC).

· Establish data-centric delivery (EDMS, tagging, 3D model, MTO/BOM integrity) and digital handover.

· Ensure environmental compliance and process safety: SIL/LOPA inputs, relief systems, flare, and safeguarding diagrams.

· Coordinate site technical support: field engineering, RFI responses, redlines, and as-built integration.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Engineering Manager should have:

· Bachelor's in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Civil) or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.

· 15+ years in upstream O&G engineering with 5+ years leading multi-discipline teams in EPC environment.

· Strong knowledge of process design, rotating/static equipment, piping layout, structural design, E&I systems.

· Hands-on with engineering tools: 3D CAD (AVEVA E3D/PDMS, Smart 3D), P6 interfaces, and EDMS.

· Familiarity with HSE design (HAZOP, SIL/LOPA), and regulatory permitting requirements.

· Technical leadership, decision-making, and mentoring.

· Quality assurance in design; V&V of calculations and vendor data.

· Interface and configuration management; change control discipline.

· Clear technical communication and client engagement.

· Data and document management; digital thread mindset.
