About Our Client

Our client is a leading player in the media industry, headquartered in the UAE. They are hiring an FP&A Manager overseeing the group operations - this position will require frequent travelling between their Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices.

Job Description

  • Preparation and analysis of the monthly reporting packs/ other ad-hoc reports
  • Develop and monitor models for budgets and forecasts on Excel.
  • Business partner with team members/other departments to produce rolling monthly forecasts
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities and optimisation of planned budget; conduct cost-variance analysis and provide recommendations
  • Analyse the company's actual performance compared to business plans; analyse the P&L for each business segment
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities wherever relevant
  • Conduct due diligence/ analysis on ad-hoc projects to facilitate decision-making

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors or Master's in Finance/ Accounting/ Business Administration or related
  • Professional Qualifications such as CA, CIMA, CMA, CFA etc. is a plus
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a Financial Planning and Analysis/ Commercial Finance position
  • Experience within Professional Services industries (specifically Media or Technology) is a huge advantage
  • Professional proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Advanced Excel skills is a MUST
