About Our Client
An exciting, ethical business leading on sustainable food and looking to expand within the UAE. A GM as well as a Head of Sales (two positions) will be recruited into this ever expanding team. Bulk rice experience is a must.
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Drive revenues and margins
- Drive operational efficiencies across the entire value chain (paddy procurement, rice milling, logistics and distribution)
- Develop multi-channel distribution strategies
- Determine pricing and lead negotiations with buyers
- Collect market information and derive conclusions on product portfolio and sales strategies
- Define product portfolio (Basmati and non Basmati varieties)
- Procure paddy and contribute to 3rd party financing
- Define and adhere to Quality Control Processes
- Manage market, operational and financial risks
- Contribute to the branding strategy of the Company
The Successful Applicant
Key candidate requirements include:
- Senior business leader in Rice or related businesses / Bulk rice experience and network in UAE is crucial
- Experience in sales
- People leader and team builder
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, excellent English language skills
- Post graduate, preferably w an Agricultural or Science degree
