Job Description

The Head of Admin and IT Support will be responsible for:

  • Business planning and IT strategy development
  • Improving existing policies, processes and procedures pertaining to IT and Administration, and governance of/conformity to policies and procedures
  • Managing the IT and Administration teams
  • Assessing business requirements for IT systems, and provide solutions for requirements
  • Managing implementation of new IT systems and ERP applications
  • Management and maintenance of IT infrastructure
  • Managing IT support (server administration, database management, infrastructure/network management, service help-desk, hardware/software requirements and installations/upgrades)
  • Administrative services (fleet management, travel/hospitality agreements, facilities management, procurement and government relations)

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Engineering/IT, or any relevant discipline
  • 10+ years of experience IT and Admin services, preferably in the Banking or Financial Services industry
  • 5+ years of people/team management experience
  • Professional certifications such as Project Management Certification (PMP or Prince2)
  • A fluent Arabic speaker
  • Experience in core banking and IT systems, as well as SharePoint, Office 365, etc.
