About Our Client
Our client is the regions leading automotive leasing company and are seeking to appoint a Head of BD role to lead commercial strategy in the region as they look to expand into new markets and open up further avenues of business. The role will be reporting to the CEO of the business directly. Initially will start out as an individual contributor role and will then transform into a people manager role.
The primary purpose of this newly created role is to lead GCC-wide expansion and market penetration for our client. They have opened new legal entities in other countries (with more in the pipeline!) and need a senior BD individual to create new partnerships and business opportunities. With a solid base in the UAE, strong cash flow/ liquidity and reputable brand name - they look to have a greater presence in the Middle East.
The Successful Applicant
To be a successful candidate for this role, you must have the below experience and attributes:
- 10-15 years overall professional work experience
- Minimum 7-8 years' sales/business development experience in the UAE/ Middle East
- Desired background in automotive (transportation/ rentals), food-tech/aggregator, internet start-ups and related areas
- Track record in partnerships establishment across the region with above background and a proven successful track record
- Solid understanding of the local/regional business landscape
- Bachelors degree qualified
What's on Offer
AED 40-42,000 per month (gross salary), medical insurance, flight ticket annually, annual or quarterly bonus plan (role/ KPI based)
