About Our Client
Multinational pharmaceuticals manufacturing company with specialisation in Eye Care and Beauty Care
a) Full responsibility for Statutory Accounts:
b) Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure statutory records are accurate and up to date
c) Verify whether all the financial procedures and processes are up to date and in line with the group ones
d) Financial Reporting in accordance with KSA Statutory and US GAAP requirements
e) Complete all tax requirements
f) Manages Financial & Business Planning Activities:
a. Manages all financial and business planning activities in close collaboration with Country Manager and Supply Chain and Regional FP&A.
b. Prepares, analyses, evaluates, submits and presents all Budget, Forecast P&Ls and Long Range plan including:
i. implementation and adherence to annual planning calendar
ii. development and validation of appropriate plan assumptions
iii. challenge and evaluation of all business projections and forecasts for accuracy, acceptability and conformance to strategic objectives.
g) Financial Performance Control:
a. Analyses and evaluates monthly financial results. Provides Country and Region Management with analytical commentary on results versus budget and forecast, highlighting trends and variances and assists management in the formulation of action plans to correct budget deviations.
b. Develops financial outlooks and estimates as required during the course of the year to assist management in identifying risks and opportunities in achieving quarterly and full year objectives
c. Contingency planning to ensure Operating Income objectives are achieved
d. Management of the local Accounts Payable process (in coordination with Westport Support team) and related funding (with Treasury support)
4) Internal Control:
h) Management of all Internal control policies and procedures including but not limited to T&E, Credit Cards policy and HCP payment process.
5) Ad Hoc analysis as required by Country and Region management:
The Successful Applicant
- Degree level education
- Fully Qualified accountant (Preferable)
- Minimum 10 years post qualification experience
- Evidence of commercial awareness
· Ability to communicate professionally in English
- Strong MS Excel skills
