Job Description

Key Responsibilities for the role will include:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Drive HR initiatives to enhance business performance.
  • Strengthen line manager capabilities across the organisation.
  • Ensure HR compliance with local labour laws and promote fair treatment.
  • Advise senior management on employee relations matters.



HR Processes:

  • Develop and manage talent pipelines with a focus on diversity.
  • Oversee talent pool management aligned with frameworks.
  • Support compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Monitor market trends and adapt compensation policies accordingly.
  • Benchmark compensation practices and integrate best practices.
  • Manage compensation-related risks and ensure policy compliance.
  • Support performance management processes.



People & Talent:

  • Lead by example and promote organisational values.
  • Ensure training and development for critical roles.
  • Drive recruitment, engagement, and succession planning.
  • Review team structures and capacity planning.
  • Set objectives and manage performance of direct reports.



Risk & Governance

  • Monitor compliance with control standards and escalate gaps.
  • Approve risk assessments and mitigation plans.
  • Support risk acceptance processes and monitor live risks.
  • Act as risk owner for employment-related regulations in Qatar.
  • Provide unified governance across HR functions.



Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Uphold ethical standards and organisational code of conduct.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
  • Promote fair outcomes and effective risk mitigation.



The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Qatari national.
  • Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles and employment law.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strategic HR planning and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
