Job Description

  • Own and run the full IT infrastructure & operations estate (day-to-day and strategic improvement).
  • Lead core domains including network & infrastructure security, cloud administration, EUC, identity & access, data centres, and support operations.
  • Drive availability, performance, resilience and governance across the environment (incl. incident, problem, change).
  • Strengthen security posture in partnership with cyber stakeholders (controls, monitoring, access, hardening, patching).
  • Oversee DR/BCP readiness and operational resilience testing.
  • Manage vendors / MSPs and ensure service delivery meets agreed outcomes and SLAs.
  • Build, lead and develop a high-performing infra/ops team; set standards, ways of working, and accountability.
  • Partner closely with technology and business leadership to prioritise initiatives and deliver improvements without disrupting BAU.

The Successful Applicant

  • Must currently be in a banking environment in the GCC (non negotiable).
  • Proven ownership of enterprise infrastructure & operations across multiple domains (network, cloud, EUC, IAM/access control, data centre).
  • Strong operational leadership: service management mindset, stability, governance, vendor management.
  • Comfortable working in a regulated environment with strong discipline around controls and risk.
  • Confident stakeholder management at senior level; able to balance BAU reliability with change delivery.
