As an HR Policy Expert, you will be responsible for driving the development, implementation and evaluation of policies in alignment with the organisation's strategic goals. In this role, you will play a leading role in enhancing governance practices whilst ensure that all new policies are appropriately documented, updated, communicated and enforced.

Job Description

  • Conduct benchmarking and research on policy best practices, trends, and technologies to support continuous policy improvement and innovation.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather insights, address concerns, and foster collaboration in policy creation and refinement.
  • Oversee policy alignment with UAE and Abu Dhabi strategies, laws, and regulations, ensuring policies are current, relevant, and legally compliant.
  • Collaborate with the Legal and Data Management teams to ensure policies are documented, aligned with legislation, and data-informed for strategic decision-making.
  • Lead policy implementation and evaluation, including establishing feedback mechanisms, monitoring effectiveness, and identifying opportunities for enhancement.
  • Ensure effective communication of policies to internal and external stakeholders through organised working groups, committee meetings, and regular updates.
  • Prepare and deliver timely, accurate regulatory reports on policy development to leadership and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance and transparency.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in policy design, development and implementation within large scale and complex organisations in the government or private sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in research and benchmarking, with the ability to leverage insights to identify best practices and recommend innovative solutions for policy development.
  • Strong legal acumen and regulatory awareness, with a solid understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in policy analysis and strategic planning, ensuring alignment with overarching organisational goals and legal standards.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, with proven experience collaborating with diverse groups to support policy initiatives.
  • Fluency in both Arabic & English is highly preferred
