About Our Client
Our client is a global key player in the cosmetics industry. As part of its North African growth strategy, we are looking for a Key Account Manager Modern Trade Egypt based in Cairo.
Based in Cairo, you report to the Country Manager and act as a critical driver of the Modern Trade sales operations in Egypt.
In line with this role, you will be expected to fulfill the following assignments :
- Managing key accounts directly and through Key account distributor and ensuring planning and implementation of actions plans to reach annual sales targets for Modern Trade channel,
- Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets by brand and ensuring achievement of budgeted in-market sales by customer,
- Recommending and implementing incentive programs for the sales team to achieve business objectives,
- Planning, controlling, and allocating specific budget and consumer promotions in line with the company and sales strategy,
- Developing Modern Trade channel by conducting Strategic Alliance tie-ups, consumer promotions, building relations & image of overall existence of the company in Modern Trade,
- Maintaining a database of all Modern Trade Outlets (administrative, commercial, business details),
- Managing a team of outsourced merchandisers, constantly give training, ensure planogram execution along with trade marketing, and ensure all Merchandising related KPIs are done,
- Operating and achieving Channel Costs as budgeted for the year,
- Monitoring activities and sales Promotions on weekly and monthly basis to determine deviations from plans and take necessary corrective actions to ensure ROI,
- Establishing a strong working relationship with key accounts and distributor operations,
- Conducting regular trade visits with sales force.
The Successful Applicant
You have a BA in Business Administration from a recognized University and a minimum of six years' experience at a similar position among multinational companies of the FMCG sector having developed Modern Trade channel in Egypt. Buyer for action and hands-on individual, you have a good understanding of Modern Trade distribution landscape as well as route-to-market in Egypt. You have undisputed renown in working autonomously with strong management skills. Finally, you are fluent in English.
