Job Description

  • Provide expert legal advice to support business operations and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents and high-value contracts.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Represent the organisation in legal proceedings and disputes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to provide legal support and guidance.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and advise on their potential impact.
  • Lead and mentor a team within the legal department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Director should have:

  • A degree in Law from a recognised institution.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international legal frameworks.
  • Experience in managing legal teams and providing strategic leadership.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
