About Our Client

Our client is a global leader in digital, compliance-led collections, with the world's most innovative enterprises to modernise recovery, protect brand equity, and transform the customer experience. They are now bringing that model to the UAE through a new joint venture anchored by a large local bank.

Job Description

  • Define and execute the UAE market strategy, calibrated for a traditional-industry client mix and longer enterprise procurement cycles.
  • Own full P&L responsibility for the UAE market, including revenue, costs, and profitability targets.
  • Accelerate growth through deep relationships across banks, telcos, utilities, BNPLs, and other regulated lenders.
  • Serve as the senior enterprise face of the company in the region - building trust with C-level leaders, regulators, and strategic partners.
  • Lead development of a high-quality commercial pipeline beyond the existing one (bank) through your existing network, targeted enterprise outreach, and relationship-based selling.
  • Oversee the activation, onboarding, and performance of the partnership as the anchor client, ensuring strong delivery, compliance, and satisfaction.
  • Hire, develop, and manage the local BD Lead and future UAE team members.
  • Ensure regulatory alignment across data sovereignty, digital collections standards, and client-specific compliance requirements.
  • Partner with global product and operations to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement for UAE clients.
  • Report market insights, commercial progress, pipeline health, forecast performance, and operational KPIs to global leadership and JV stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in collections, financial services, BNPL, telco credit, or enterprise B2B environments in the UAE.
  • Demonstrated success in selling and delivering enterprise services to banks, telcos, or other regulated institutions.
  • A strong, established network across senior credit, collections, risk, and operations leaders in the UAE - essential for accelerating early pipeline.
  • Experience owning a P&L, managing teams, and operating in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment.
  • Ability to navigate enterprise sales cycles, regulatory requirements, procurement processes, and multi-stakeholder negotiations.
  • Deep understanding of UAE credit operations, collections practices, compliance requirements, and market norms.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; track record of building new markets or business units from the ground up.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence executives internally and externally.

What's on Offer

  • Lead the launch and growth of a global category leader in one of its highest-potential new markets.
  • Build a team, shape the strategy, and directly influence the long-term success of the UAE structure.
  • Work closely with global executives who have scaled the company across the US, UK, AU, NZ, and Canada.
  • Competitive leadership compensation, performance incentives, and significant autonomy to execute the strategy.
  • Opportunity to define the UAE's digital collections landscape and set a new benchmark for compliant, customer-centric recovery.
