Our client is a start up clinics chain backed by a large investment house. They are looking to hire an experienced Professional Medical Representative for their team in Riyadh.

Job Description

The PMR is responsible for promoting registered services to increase visibility and access, working collaboratively with other departments. The goal is to highlight the value of these services to reach more eligible patients.

  • Understand account mapping, including logistics, product listing, contracts, and key decision-makers within each account.
  • Increase patient flow to clinics by understanding patient pathways and ensuring all sales activities comply with internal policies and local regulations.
  • Ensure high standards of execution in all duties.
  • Stay updated on relevant disease areas, products, and competitors.
  • Follow all compliance guidelines, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Meet sales and market share targets for the assigned territory.
  • Use multiple communication channels, such as face-to-face meetings, emails, phone calls, and presentations, to engage healthcare professionals, ensuring quality interactions and feedback.
  • Monitor sales performance in assigned accounts, including hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.
  • Collaborate with the value chain team to review distributor sales reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as Pharmacy Directors, Procurement Managers, and Hospital Management.
  • Identify business opportunities and collaborate with the Market Access team to align with long-term strategies.
  • Ensure all performance indicators and KPIs are met, including database updates, accurate visit reporting, and continual performance improvement.
  • Participate in scientific quizzes and training sessions to enhance technical and ethical business skills.
  • Organize activities following compliance rules and utilize the CRM system as required by company policies and local laws.
  • Adhere to pharmacovigilance guidelines, promptly reporting any adverse events or product quality issues.



The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following:

  • Medical science background in term of education (Pharmacy, Medicine, Veterinary, Dentistry).
  • The candidate needs to be a Saudi National
  • strong sales experience for another chain of specialised clinics/ medical centres or experience in pharmacy manufacturing
  • Candidate needs o have experience dealing with specialists such as oncologist, internal medicine doctors at hospitals
  • experience working with a healthcare start up would be an added advantage
  • strong network and connecting with doctors and physicians to get referrals and grow business
  • strong English and Arabic communication skills - with a sales edge
